Inverurie nestles in the Don Valley at the centre of Aberdeenshire. The town straddles the River Don and the River Ury; it is surrounded by farmland and only 4 miles (6.4 km) from the imposing mountain of Bennachie. The town centre is triangular and dominated by the grand Town Hall built in the late 1800s. In the middle of "The Square" (as it is known locally) is the Inverurie War Memorial capped by a lone Gordon Highlander looking out over the town. The main shopping areas include the square and West High Street. There are a variety of shops including delicatessens, designer boutiques, iornmongers as well as all the usual high street names. Restaurants and bars to suit every palate can be found in the town and surrounding area. The development of out of town retail parks and supermarkets can provide anything you may need.

The situation of Inverurie, west of Aberdeen on the A96 makes for easy city access.
The industrial estates of Dyce and the airport can be reached within 15mins.
The beauitful countryside and beaches of Aberdeenshire are on your doorstep and the Cairngorm National Park is within 30 minutes.
